The DNA Sequencing Cleanup Kit provides a rapid, simple, and efficient method for high-throughput purification and clean-up of DNA sequencing reactions as well as other enzymatic processes, including restriction enzyme digests, Klenow reactions, alkaline phosphatase treatments, and ligations. It efficiently removes reaction contaminants such as dye terminators, salts, enzymes, excess primers, and primer dimers, which can interfere with downstream applications like sequencing, RFLP, restriction enzyme digestion, and ligation. The purification relies on column chromatography, avoiding the use of phenol, chloroform, or alcohol precipitation, and delivers high-quality results with up to 90% recovery.
