Cell and Tissue DNA Isolation Kit

This Cells and Tissue DNA Isolation Kit is designed for the rapid extraction of genomic DNA from cultured cells, various tissue samples, and urine. The purification process utilizes spin column chromatography as the separation matrix. The columns selectively bind DNA under optimized salt conditions and release it under low-salt, slightly alkaline conditions. The resulting genomic DNA is fully digestible with commonly used restriction enzymes and is compatible with PCR and Southern blot analysis.

The kit enables the isolation of genomic DNA from a wide range of animal tissues or cell samples, preferentially separating DNA from other cellular protein components. DNA yields will vary depending on the type of sample processed. Preparation time for a single sample is approximately 60 minutes, and each kit provides sufficient materials for up to 50 preparations.
