Endotoxin Removal Kit (DNA)

This Endotoxin Removal Kit (Mini) is designed for the rapid removal of endotoxins from up to 25 µg of previously purified DNA. Endotoxins, also known as lipopolysaccharides, are components of the cell membrane of Gram-negative bacteria, such as E. coli. They are released during plasmid purification and can significantly reduce transfection efficiencies in endotoxin-sensitive cell lines. Therefore, removing endotoxins from plasmid preparations is often necessary before downstream applications.

Using this kit, endotoxin levels can be efficiently reduced to 0.1 EU/µg DNA or lower. Each kit provides sufficient reagents for 25 purifications, and the preparation time for a single sample is approximately 20 minutes.
