Fluorescent Adrenergic Receptor beta2 Internalization Assay Cell Line

Description Green Fluorescent beta-2 adrenoreceptor Cell Line contains CHO-K1 cells stably expressing ADRB2 tagged with tGFP. These Cell lines proliferate in vitro maintaining fluorescent GPCR expression following the cell culture manual. The Green Fluorescent beta-2 adrenoreceptor Cell Line allows to assay compounds, or analyze their capability to modulate ADRB2 activation and the following redistribution process inside the cells. When a ligand binds to the ADRB2, it activates a G protein, which internalizes in big and high intensity vesicles. This cell line has been validated measuring Fluorescent ADRB2 redistribution by image analysis as an increment of fluorescent intensity of these vesicles. The high reproducibility of this assay allows monitoring ADRB2 receptor redistribution process in High Throughput Screening.
